1 28oz can of organic diced tomatoes without salt (or 2-3 regular size cans)
1/4 onion, diced
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp crushed garlic
sea salt, crushed red pepper, & oregano to taste
Heat oil in the bottom of a skillet or pot. In the meantime, process half-3/4 tomatoes in a food processor or nutribullet. More or less depending on how chunky you like your sauce.
Add garlic and onions to oil and when cook for about 5 minutes before adding tomatoes and seasoning. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
