Had I realized making homemade salsa was so easy, i would’ve started a long time ago! I decided to make my own because I recently found out about a sensitivity to garlic and unfortunately it is in like everyyyyyy pre-made salsa on the shelf. This girl ain’t missing no taco tuesdays! So here’e we are lol Feel free to add a clove or two of garlic to your recipes, prepare it the same as the other vegetables. You can also double/triple this recipe for larger portions.
Ingredients:
-3 plum tomatoes
-1/4 onion
-1 jalepeno
-1/2 tbs EVOO
-juice from 1/2 lime
-2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
-dash of sea salt
-dash of cumin

Broil all the veggies on low setting for 10 minutes or until slightly charred. Allow to cool enough that you can stem & core jalapeño.
